The exhibition Filmogram is confronting film and photography in such a way to erode established understanding and reading of film through the prism of the narrative and photography through the prism of the fine arts. Filmogram is the encounter of film (the story of which rests on the image) and photography (the image of which is based upon the story). The pictures of Filmogram are through the freezing process animated film photograms and through the process of storytelling unfrozen photographs. Filmogram points out the works of Slovenian artists from the field of film and photography, who are aware of this exciting and necessary connection and who use this awareness to enrich their own artistic expression or even base their artistic expression upon it.
