Event Photography on a Sofa – the platform for contemporary photography and photography theory is bent on spreading and deepening the critical debate on photography, its role in society and its growing significance in modern times; moreover also the establishment of new connections and the exchange of experience. Photography on a Sofa connects photography, art, science, photography theory and last but not least humanities and social sciences in an intertwinement of point of views, the crux of debates and the collision of – at the first sight – discordant domains. All in an attempt to highlight the field of photography and everything photographic. Photography on a Sofa, until today, featured more than forty guests.
